We re going to show you how to delete discord servers whether you ve grown tired of a community or set one up for a test. It s something you can accomplish on any device that the Discord app works on, although easier to do through the two methods we ve outlined below.

How to Delete Discord Servers From a Browser

If you use Discord on a PC, you re either using the browser of the company s official app. While the PC app is full of fun features, it can bring some systems to a crawl. If you don t want to deal with a laggy Discord boot up follow these steps to delete a server.

1. Login at Discord

Go to Discord sofficial websiteand select Open Discord in your Brower from the main page. Enter your login credentials and solve the captcha or bot test to proceed.

2. Select a Server

This step could be challenging if you re a seasoned Discord user with folders full of servers, but you need to locate the server you want to delete. Find the server using the column on the left side of the page and click on it.

3. Access Settings

Go to the top of the screen where it shows the server s name and click the area to open a drop-down menu. Look for an option called Sever Settings and choose it.

4. Discord Server Settings

As the admin or server owner, you ll see more than a dozen sections on the left side of the screen. Scroll all the way to the bottom until you see an area labeled Delete Server.

5. Delete the Server

When you click on Delete Server, a new message should appear as shown in the screenshot below. You ll need to enter the name of your server, but don t click on Delete until you are sure. Once you take this step, the server and all the messages are gone for good.

How to Delete Discord Servers from the Mobile App

Deleting a discord server from the mobile app is as easy as removing one from the web. Instead of clicking, you simply need to tap.

1. Open the Discord App

On your smartphone or tablet, find the Discord app and tap it to open Discord. Log in with your password and email/phone number if you re not already logged in.

2. Locate the Server

In the app, look on the left side of the page and you ll see a list of servers you ve joined. Scroll through the list until you see the server you want to delete. Long-press on the server icon to open a new menu, and choose More Options.

3. Discord Server Settings

After the new menu opens, choose the Setting icon from the option on the right to bring up a full list of settings. At the top of the screen, tap on Overview.

4. Delete Discord Server

The Overview section gives you access to the main settings users see when they enter your server. It s also where you delete servers using the mobile app. Look at the bottom of the screen for the Delete Server button and tap it to delete the Discord server.

The Wrap-Up

Deleting a Discord is a major step and something you don t want to take lightly before pulling the trigger. Unlike deleting your Discord account, it s a permanent action and there s no chance to reverse course. If you want to keep the server but are having issues with certain channels or users, you can delete those problems instead of the entire server.
