You can see the game being played at its greatest level in the Call of Duty League. How Does The Call of Duty League Work In 2023?

Twelve teams made up of the top 48 players in the world will compete in five Majors and one Championship final in an effort to be proclaimed the CDL Champions of the 2023 Season.

Prior to each Major, teams compete against one another over three weekends in order to qualify for these LAN events. The teams accumulate points in the overall standings throughout the year, and the top eight teams advance to the Championship LAN tournament at the conclusion of the year. If they succeed, they are proclaimed the winners, and we proceed to the following Season and the following competition.

Where Can You Watch CDL Matches In 2023?

If you’re just starting into Call of Duty esports this year, you might be shocked at how the game is played differently from regular public battles.

In essence, you’ll be watching teams of four play Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, and a third mode—typically Control—across a small number of MW2 maps with drastically scaled-back weapon and equipment inventories. But later in the text, we go into more depth about the complete competitive settings.

CDL Results: Major 3 Qualifiers

Expect Minnesota to perform better this year because they made significant off-season improvements to their club in 2022-2023. Sadly, London won’t likely fare as well as they could have because they lost their celebrity slayer Afro (and I say that as a diehard LRR fan).

What Are The Current Competitive Rules?

• LMGs, Battle Rifles, Marksman Rifles, Shotguns and Riot Shields are banned.
• All launchers are banned.
• All silencers, lasers and armor piercing attachments are banned.
• The only killstreaks allowed to are the Cruise Missile, Precision Airstrike and S.A.E.
• Almost all Lethals, Tacticals and Field Upgrades are banned except for Stuns, Smokes, Frag Grenades, Semtex, Dead Silence and Trophy Systems.
• All Base perks except for Battle Hardened, Double Time, and Bomb Squad are banned.
• All Ultimate perks are banned.

What Weapons & Equipment Have Been GA’d?

Yes, we understand that most competition enthusiasts prefer to watch Raid ever series over Hotel, but at least our map pool is 5/5/3 rather than 4/4/2.

We can certify that the following has been prohibited now that we have the competitive parameters for 2023:

The removal of one-shot weapons and everything that can provide free information or simple kills makes Call of Duty a fundamentally more competitive game, despite the fact that this restriction can sound extremely onerous. There are also a few minor modifications to the modes; for example, in SnD, the defuse time is now 7.5 seconds rather than 5, but other than that, the modes remain largely unchanged.
